Soma Chocolate Factory

The renovated space at Soma Chocolate’s new facility on Brock Avenue in Toronto is a true chocolate factory—an open concept chocolate “atelier” that draws you in with the sights and smells of some of the best chocolates in the world being produced right in front of your eyes.

Being involved in this project at its earliest stages, the project included retrofitting a 500 m² second floor nail-laminated timber (NLT) floor system to bring the structure up to current building codes. The exposed NLT is also a great fit for the final look of the build—simple, authentic, and clean.
